Thank you for the guidance. I have obtained the official BTRC directive
titled "Guidelines for Import, Use, Marketing and Enrollment Certificate
of Radio Equipment - 2024" (বেতার যন্ত্রপাতি আমদানি, ব্যবহার, বাজারজাতকরণ
এবং তালিকাভুক্তি সনদ গ্রহণের নির্দেশিকা-২০২৪).
Section 9.1.3 of this directive explicitly defines the technical
parameters for the 2.4 GHz and 5.7 GHz bands as follows:
1) 2400 - 2483.5 MHz (2.4 GHz Band)
- Max EIRP: 30 dBm (1 Watt)
- Max Antenna Gain: 6 dBi
- Usage: Indoor
2) 5725 - 5875 MHz (5.7 GHz Band)
- Max EIRP: 30 dBm (1 Watt)
- Max Antenna Gain: 6 dBi
- Usage: Indoor
Regarding the 6 GHz band (5925 - 6425 MHz), BTRC Circular No.
14.32.0000.402.45.231.24.116 (dated 15 September 2024) approved its
shared use for Wi-Fi/IoT/WLAN. While the circular does not explicitly
state power limits, Section 9.1.2 of the 2024 Guidelines allows up to
30 dBm for general SRD/IoT bands. However, to remain conservative and
align with APT recommendations, 23 dBm (LPI) is proposed.
For the lower 5 GHz (5150 - 5350 MHz) and middle 5 GHz (5470 - 5725 MHz)
bands, they are authorized for indoor use in type-approved equipment,
but I will wait for the other submitters who are in direct contact with
BTRC for formal clarification on their specific EIRP and DFS/TPC
requirements to avoid any further unverified claims.
I will wait for the consolidated progress as you suggested.
