Carbus card does not show up in lspci

Hi,

I'm trying to help someone to get his HWGPCMCIA-54 PCMCIA wireless card
to work on his Toshiba Satellite Pro A60 laptop. The laptop has a TI PCI1440
Cardbus controller.

The problem is that the card does not show up in lspci.

The dmesg, lspci -vv and /proc/iomem are attached to this mail below.

The kernel is a 2.6.15-r1, from Gentoo.

I already tried a couple of things, line passing pci=assign-busses, or
reserving some memory for the bridge, as per lspci:

02:06.0 CardBus bridge: Texas Instruments PCI1410 PC card Cardbus Controller. (rev 02)
Subsystem: Toshiba America Info Systems Unknown device ff10
Control: I/O+ Mem+ BusMaster+ SpecCycle- MemWINV- VGASnoop- ParErr- Stepping- SERR- FastB2B-
        Status: Cap+ 66MHz- UDF- FastB2B- ParErr- DEVSEL=medium >TAbort- <TAbort- <MAbort- >SERR- <PERR-
Latency: 168, Cache Line Size 20
Interrupt: pin A routed to IRQ 5
        Region 0: Memory at d0001000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=4K]
        Bus: primary=02, secondary=03, subordinate=06, sec-latency=176
        Memory window 0: 90000000-91fff000 (prefetchable)
        Memory window 1: d2000000-d3fff000
        I/O window 0: 0000a400-0000a4ff
        I/O window 1: 0000a800-0000a8ff
BridgeCtl: Parity- SERR- ISA- VGA- MAbort- >Reset+ 16bInt+ PostWrite+
16-bit legacy interface ports at 0001

The 'Memory at d0001000' does not appear in the regions marked as reserved
by the BIOS (see the dmesg), so I tried 'reserve=0xd0001000,Ox5000', but this
didn't change anything

Also, apparently, from the dmesg, the Video RAM is mapped at 0xb0000000, well
beyond the available RAM (703MB).

Note that there is a second problem: a *** DANGER *** unable to remove socket
power when the card is removed.

I really don't know what to try next... so, do you have any idea ?

Thanks,

Nicolas.
