Doubt about applying patch to wpa supplicant

Like a said, I applied the patch. This was on December 27th and v0.5.9
was released on December 2nd (of course, without the patch).. In other
words, this change will be in the next 0.5.x release and the meanwhile
it is also available from my Git repository (and would be from CVS which
is the official place for 0.5.x releases, but well, my CVS repository is
not currently online due to server issues).
