madwifi: disable hw encryption

Hi,

I'm looking for a possibility to explicitly disable hardware encryption on a
madwifi card so encryption falls back to the software implementation of
madwifi drivers.
With Prism2 cards and hostap driver this can be done with 'iwpriv wlan#
host_decrypt 1'.
Is there a similar command for madwifi? Or any other ideas for disabling
onboard encryption?
