Firmware Station for WPA

Hi list, 

  i'm trying to set hostapd to work with WPA-TKIP and authentication mode 
EAP-TLS. The autentication goes rights, but the Access point deassociate the 
stations...  I'm using hostap driver 0.2.4, redhat9b.
I'm using a netgear MA401 PCI with firmware 1.3.6, is this the problem? Do I 
have to upgrade the firmware? If yes wich one, 1.7 or more?
