Queue discipline

I'm trying to understand the walk of a transmitted UDP packet from the application buffer to my Prism2 card (with hostap, of course).
I'm interesting on the involved packet queues and on blocking conditions.
Ok for UDP tx queue, but what about the net_device queue?
Is still valid the default size of 100 packets for hostap?
There is any queue discipline associate to the driver?
