IEEE 802.1x authentication

Hello All,

Is there any special requirement in the hostap driver so as to pass the information to the hostapd using PF_PACKET option in socket system call. Also how the hostapd sends a frame to the hostap driver so ultimately it will send on wireless media? Is this done thr' prism2_tx_80211 function. Correct me if I wrong....

Also what are the meaning of the SM_* declarations in the eapol_sm.c file. From where these declarations are called?

Please help me ......
