hostap problem

Hi,Just wanna ask why after i install hostap with , the hostap_pci said
cannot find any device and not device installed, what happend? I am using
3com Air Connect Wireless PCI
Network Card 3CRWE777A-E1 for Linux redhat 9.0 with kernel 2.4.20-8
