Hostapd questions...

Hello, 

I have an insignificant question... Is there a way to change what hostapd sends as a username and or password?  Or more correctly the format of the username and/or password sent?

By the way, i did get hostapd to authenticate aginst a recent version of RadiusNT (after i figured out what hostapd sent as user/pass), in case anyone finds that interesting...  ;-)
