wds links

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to measure the strength of a wds
link when using hostapd?

This is feature is not yet implemented in the current cvs version.

 

One idea is to use the wlan0sta to associate to each of the neighbors
and record the results.

Another one is to do a passive scan of all access points and filter out
the ones that are not relevant.

 

Before I embark in writing complex scripts I would like to know if
anyone has other ideas.
