As a temporary solution, you could try adding permanent station entry
for each WDS link end-point with 'hostap_crypt_conf wlan0 <hwaddr> none
-p'. I haven't tested whether this really collects statistics, but it
might. At least it will add /proc/net/hostap/wlan0/<hwaddr> entry.
