audiodescribed, signed versions: always or just nonw and then?

I'm still messing around with gui wrapper for gip.

I'm adding features to deal with --versions, i.e. 
audiodescribed and signed.

If anyone uses those:  would it be the case that

(a) you more or less always want the special version, if it's 
available (in which case I'll make a preference to set in gigi 
preference dialog).

or

(b) you only want special version occasionally (in which case I'll 
think of some other way to make adhoc choice).
