evidently my testing is woefully inadequate, sorry!

something I find curious is that some of the wrong urls work, and some
don't.  e.g. kent/programmes/schedules caused warning messages, but in
a browser it redirects to radiokent/...  but worldservice/... also
redirects to worldserviceradio/... but doesn't generate a warning.
