  Yes, many CHEERS dinkypumpkin !!!!

get_iplayer --type=radio -f --refresh-future

produces no WARNINGS anymore.

Yes, there is no clear pattern in the schedules renaming and all uniformity
is lost;
I wonder what the BBC person responsible for this had in mind (?) ...

I'll be OT here, but, seriously, this is the time of year that I envy the
UK weather ...
It was (Wednesday) day 4 of a continuous heatwave here, with daytime temps
reaching
35-36 C and never falling beneath 29 C during night time; not at all
hardware friendly.
The fan on the laptop running at full speed, CPU intensive tasks (e.g.
recoding video) to
be avoided.
And at least twice a day I lose my internet connection because my
modem/router overheats
and chokes to death, while trying to accommodate 1 desktop PC via ethernet &
2 laptops
and a mobile phone via Wi-Fi...

I am using a local copy of the script with several personal modifications
to match my needs,
so instead of downloading Git HEAD and applying my own patches anew, I used
the patch
found here:

http://git.infradead.org/get_iplayer.git/commitdiff_plain/34b272fb27e0a2286b6473de17c8cd3d964264f0

to modify (manually) my existing copy - everything's OK :-)

(... apologies for the typo in my previous mail; it should read "multitude",
not "maltitude")

Thanks for all your continued efforts!

"Warm" greetings,
Vangelis.
