Morning folks,
I'm trying to get a copy of a programme off the iPlayer but I can't
seem to be able to get the best-res copy (which is 832x468). The
programme in question is here:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01l4ldk/Olympic_Ceremonies_London_2012_Opening_Ceremony/
I've tried to download it via command line using its PID (using
get_iplayer --pid b01l4ldk) and via the web interface but I seem to be
getting the rubbish 640x360 copy.
When you watch the programme on the iPlayer website, it seems to start
off at 640 and then ramps up to 832x468 at 1500kbps bitrate.
Is there a way I can force the download of the higher resolution
version? I mainly use the web console to download, and not the command
line, so I'm not terribly au fait with the latter.
Many thanks in advance,
R.
