Ok, I'm not to concerned about the metadata. I did think about
transcoding to mpeg2 and making a dvd but my editing machine is out of
action at the moment so I'm a bit pressed for tools on this laptop.
It;d be nice to see what I'm cutting and editing but as long as I've
got the overlapping chunks saved I have a bunch of choices open.
The first chunk (ffmpeg) came out fine btw. Thanks so much for your
time and patience.
