update to linux 2.6.15 + udev: lspci shows the proper ethernet card but ifconfig is unable to proceed: SOLUTION FOUND

Hello,

After some digging, I found out that the only problem was the fact that the 
8139too module was not loaded by the kernel. 
In the past, pcmcia-cs required this module not to be loaded, and was loading 
it by itself.
Now with udev, apparently it must. Maybe a word or too about that in the HOWTO 
could be helpful.
