you ask for reports about problems with pcmcia drivers.
Here is mine:
Notebook Medion MD 95600 ( = MSI S260, Medion is just a trade mark )
Card don't get recognized and actived, seem to have no power.
/proc/interrupts:
19: 7 IO-APIC-level yenta, uhci_hcd
20: 11 IO-APIC-level yenta
(The interrupt counter for 20 increases when I eject or insert a
card, so does not seem to be an interrupt problem).
