Unfortunately, I cannot do this -- I have no good access to my website
(mass-commercial ISP), and cannot configure it properly to my needs. Sorry
about that.

If Russell agrees on that, sure. Note that the switch from "ds" to "pcmcia"
is only necessary as I want to compile >= 2 .c files into one module; and
I don't want to "mv ds.c somethingelse.c"...

Agreed. But only if we indeed want that name change.
