TI 1410 IRQ problem on 2.4 kernel

Dear all,

I had posted this problem on the hostap list:

Pavel Roskin briefly answered my question on the same list:

and told me about the linux-pcmcia list. Pavel also mentioned about the
availability of a working patch:
  http://ritz.dnsalias.org/linux/pcmcia-ti-routing-8.patch

which is apparently for 2.6 kernel, whereas I am developing on a 2.4
kernel. I have just skimmed through the recent posts about the TI bridges
to find a 2.4 patch.

Could anyone guide me with the appropriate correction?

PS. I would like to test the patch on my system hosting the TI card, whose
