Host AP CVS reposity has a new branch, linux26_branch, that is used to
modify the driver code to be more suitable to be merged into Linux 2.6
kernel distribution. This branch is currently only available from the
CVS repository (either with CVS pserver or through viewcvs.cgi).

My current plan is to change 0.2.x branch to be a new "stable branch"
(and left 0.1.x as the "old stable branch") once the 0.2.x code gets
couple of missing features for WPA (mainly, TKIP countermeasures for
hostapd) and some more testing. After this, linux26_branch is likely to
become the next development branch (with something like 0.3.x as a
version number).

Different branches support following kernel versions:
0.1.x: 2.2.x, 2.4.x, 2.6.x, external pcmcia-cs modules
0.2.x: the latest 2.4.x and 2.6.x, external pcmcia-cs modules
0.3.x: the latest 2.6.x

0.1.x will be very much in maintenance mode (i.e., just critical bug
fixes). 0.2.x is still likely to get some of the new features, but not
necessarily all of them. 0.3.x will be the main development target.
