prism2_srec & capabilities

when i try to use prism2_srec I get an access denied message, but not 
before the card is crashed (iwpriv wlan0 reset 1 fixes it though).

looks like the capability checking is done in hostap_ioctl.

i'm using kernel 2.5.58

any suggestions? i have an idea my kernel doesn't properly support the 
capability stuff and is failing. setcap claims capabilities are not 
supported.
