Hi,
I am using the latest CVS snapshot of Hostap driver,
I have a setup where I using two D-link DWL 650 cards one running in Master
mode while other in Managed mode.

Association fails between HostAP(AP) and HostAP(Client)!

Below given is the output of the command "dmesg" on RedHat 7.2 with kernel
2.5.27, wireless extensions v11 (pcmcia-3.1.34) with D-Link DWL 650 pccard
with firmware version 1.3.5 on both AP and client

  wlan0: NIC: id=0x800c v1.0.0
  wlan0: PRI: id=0x15 v1.0.7
  wlan0: STA: id=0x1f v1.3.5
wlan0: defaulting to host-based encryption as a workaround for firmware
bug in Host AP mode WEP
wlan0: defaulting to bogus WDS frames as a workaround for firmware bug in
Host AP mode WDS
  wlan0: LinkStatus=2 (Disconnected)
  wlan0: prism2_param:unknown param 926035509
  wlan0: LinkStatus=6 (Association failed)
  wlan0: LinkStatus: BSSID 44:44:44:44:44:44
  wlan0: LinkStatus=6 (Association failed)
  wlan0: LinkStatus: BSSID 44:44:44:44:44:44
  wlan0: LinkStatus=6 (Association failed)
  wlan0: LinkStatus: BSSID 44:44:44:44:44:44
  wlan0: LinkStatus=6 (Association failed)
wlan0: LinkStatus: BSSID 44:44:44:44:44:44 and so on!

Does this have anything to do with firmware bug ? or
Do I have to upgrade wireless extensions from v11 to v15

Thanks in advance,
Manjunathan PY
