Continual Server Crashes at Beeb

Your answer I think is in the log -- it's not using SwfVfy, so the 
iPlayer server will stop the download because it's not providing the 
appropriate challenge/response. get_iplayer then attempts to resume but 
rtmpdump can't do it perfectly always so you get these dropped frames. 
Radio programmes don't suffer from this.

What version of get_iplayer are you using? I'm using an older version so 
manually specify the swfvfy string with the correct player .swf URL when 
downloading TV programmes, but AIUI the newer versions include this 
functionality again.
