ath10k QCA9377 fails on Acer laptop running 4.13.0-16-generic

Hi,

The content is generated with 'wpa_passphrase', and I cannot see
anything related to p2p. This is the content:

network={
ssid="mySSID"
#psk="cleartextpassword"
psk=<long hash>
}

I'm not sure, but I believe this Atheros QCA9377 (NFA435) on this
laptop is not supported, or I must have missed out on some steps. :(
Even more frustrating is that when I try to do the ndiswrapper
solution, the module seem to insert nicely with ndiswrapper -i ,
however when I do depmod -a and modprobe ndiswrapper, I get:

loadndisdriver: loadndisdriver: load_driver(336): too many .bin files
for driver netathr10x
