1. These files are only built on RV32 so that’s irrelevant.
2. This is what the upstream source uses.
3. On RV64 you would not implement 64-bit arithmetic with a pair of
ints.
4. The implementation is deliberately designed to be 2*sizeof(long) so
it can be reused for 128-bit arithmetic on 64-bit processors if you
really want (though the function names would need to change), as you
can see in the comment at the top of the file.
