That is all I have for now.

I would be interested in seeing if the XML POST code resolves the
issue with Oscar's gateway.  (This feature may also need more tuning
as it was only tested on a limited number of gateways.)

FWIW I do get a valid login form using XML POST on vpn.amaris.com,
which looks promising.  If GET is used instead, the client is
immediately redirected to webvpn.html which is just an error page:

<error id="91" param1="" param2="">Invalid host entry. Please re-enter.</error>

This gateway reports that it is running version 8.4(2)8.  I have been
testing with ASA 55xx gateways running 8.4(1) and 8.4(3).
