vc4.ko brings unusable&unstable ALSA sinks

So basically every 10 secs a timeout message. I have no idea why it stopped 
after 604 seconds.  At least 60 mins have passed since that last msg.

Pulseaudio is installed and running in system-mode. 
I have to learn more about pulseaudio to figure out which card/sink it's using.
When I try to play a track with mpd (via ncmpc), it appears to be playing, 
but I hear no sound whatsoever. I don't know if that's my fault (and where) 
or that the problem lies somewhere else.
