This fails my tests for STRICT_KERNEL_RWX=n, which is probably why 
didn't get around to merging it in the first place.  

Sorry to flip-flop on you here, but I'm going to pull this off for-next.  
I know I've done that a few times lately, it's not how I'd like to be 
doing things but this cycle just ended up in a lot of distractions.
