Problem to initialize devices behind a PCI-PCMCIA bridge

Hi all,

I have a problem while trying to plug a pcmcia card a Ricoh RL5c475 
bridge on an Ubuntu 9.10 with 2.6.31 kernel (9.04 had the same issue).
I tried "pci=assign-busses" but nothing change.
I tried with several pcmcia and cardbus devices (GSM PC-Card, NE2000 
ethernet card, PCMCIA Harddrive and SCSI cardbus device) but none of 
them worked.

What's going wrong?
