pcmcia disk drive not detected

Dominik, wonder if you can help.  Jaunty and Intrepid do not recognize my
PCMCIA CDROM.  The cardbus works fine with other cards.  The drive works
fine under WinXP.

 

Here is the lspcmcia -vvv statement.  The card device is recognized by yenta
as pcmcia0.0.  IT just does not seem to get picked up by pata_pcmcia.

Any help would be appreciated. Let me know what I need to do because it
should work.
