this means the card you insert is a 32-bit PCCard, and not a 16-bit PCMCIA
card. Therefore, it is handled by the PCI subsystem and not by the PCMCIA
subsystem, which means that /sys/bus/pcmcia/devices is supposed to be empty.
Do you have all USB host drivers loaded? (ehci_hcd, uhci_hcd, ohci_hcd)
