Sending SIGHUP Signal to Cardmgr

I just want to elaborate on my last post a little bit.  I have tried
the following command line:

---code--------------
~$ sudo kill -s SIGHUP `pidof cardmgr`
-----------------------

and got the following error for an output:

---code--------------
~$ sudo kill -s SIGHUP `pidof cardmgr`
kill: bad signal name 's'
-----------------------

I think I'm close but stuck on this none the less.  Any ideas?
