Yet since I don't have the card at hand, I can't confirm if it's really the 
patch that fixes it (especially that my Bluetooth card still doesn't seem to 
work faster than 115200 on 2.6.16-rc2, but that might be another problem). 
 
For reference, could you paste your serial port configuration? Anything that 
sets the port's speed would be relevant, including statements in /etc/ppp/*
