It works with pci=assign-busses and the 2.6.15-r1 Gentoo kernel.
(Although I'm sure I asked the person to try that... Typo ??)
Do you still want a dmesg and lspci -vv ?? Even with a 2.6.15 ?
(I'm not sure I can convince him to update his kernel since it is now working)
