This list is about PCMCIA in kernel 2.6. -- it seems to me that the problem
you're experienced is caused by
a) pcmcia-cs in Debian sid,
b) the 2.4. kernel, or
c) the hardware.
As you think the problem indeed is in pcmcia-cs, you might want to ask the
Debian maintainer of that package directly.
