I've searched the archives of August and September 2005 and applied the
patch from Daniel:

I've added "reserve=0xe742c000,0x2000000" a first try, and
"reserve=0xe7423000,0x2000000" a second try to my grub configuration,
all based on reading the archives. But I still get "cs: pcmcia_socket0:
unable to apply power". I'm not sure if I'm doing the right thing here
though.
Your help is very much appreciated. Please cc me, as I'm not subscribed
to the list.

If I follow with 'modprobe serial_cs' nothing gets into the logs.
If I remove the PCMCIA card, and plug it back in, I get this:

>From the archives I understand that my bios is at fault here due to the
graphics using main memory, and that the 'reserve=' kernel option might
solve this. Did I use the wrong values?
I've installed pcmciautils-008, but assume that doesn't matter at this
point.
I include /proc/iomem, lspci -vv. This is all without any 'reserve='
kernel option. Please let me know If I should provide more info.
