Problem with EPIA MII 10000 + NetGear WGT511T (Atheros based) or D-Link DWL-650+ (ACX111 based)

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your help! However...
Atheros based cards (such as the turbo version of the WGT511) do not have firmware.
The MadWifi drivers contain a module called ath_hal that basically serves in the role of firmware,
although it is merely setting parameters in the chipset.

As mentioned I have used the reserve solution, and it brought me to were the ath_pci module loads
without error and the card seems to get power (green leds are lit) yet there is no actual
communications with the card, setting parameters with iwconfig seems to work until you notice that
all this setting/getting seems to be written and kept in memory but without any effect on the card
at all.. You can read what you wrote but nothing else besides. The card doesn't seem to be producing
inteligible data.

I hope someone has another breadcrumb of a clue for me! :)
