There are various reasons why the power on fails... some are unknown, some
are known, and one such reason is both handled in
http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4501 and
http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2944 .

This depends on what of the reasons are the cause for the failure on your
system: is it an x86_64 one? what kernel do you use? what kind of
yenta-bridge is it?
