unable to apply power

I have an EPIA MII12000 with the same Ricoh Cardbus controller, and
was experiencing similar issues when attempting to use PC-Cards.
Various sources refer to the problem as being with the way the bios
allocation of memory. I was able to (temporarily) able to resolve the
