There are no Linux drivers for the Broadcom chips, which is the heart of 
the WPC54G card. You will need to acquire the Windows driver and the 
ndiswrapper software (http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net). If you want to 
use WPA encryption, you will also need the wpa_supplicant package (follow 
the link on the above page). I use this card on my HP ze1115 notebook 
running SuSE 9.2.
