Hi,

I'm having the same problem as 'puggy at gentoo.org', i.e. when i remove
my US Robotics USR5410 wireless network card i get the error message in
the subject. Or to be more precise, the following two lines:

spurious 8259A interrupt: IRQ7.
PCMCIA: socket cb3ce42c: *** DANGER *** unable to remove socket power

This card should work both with ndiswrapper and the acx100 driver, but
doesn't, although I can't be absolutely sure wether this is related.
I'm running a 2.6.9-rc2 prepatch kernel on a Toshiba A60-302 with a
Celeron processor and 256 Mb of RAM.

I get the following info from the kernel:

BIOS-provided physical RAM map:
BIOS-e820: 0000000000000000 - 000000000009fc00 (usable)
