it's a bit late but I can confirm this works fine on our i.MX27 platform 
using : NAND device: Manufacturer ID: 0x2c, Chip ID: 0xac (Micron NAND 
512MiB 1,8V 8-bit) (2k page size) with hw ecc & flash bbt.
