No, I disagree. I just realized I was also wrong. It doesn't have to be a part of 
pt_regs at all. prepare_ftrace_return will receive it as first parameter due to this:

 sub     r0, fp, #4              @ lr of instrumented routine (parent)

first instruction in __ftrace_graph_regs_caller.
