I don't think I've seen anyone saying that.  If you're referring to my
comments last night that was purely about the strict no new code policy
you've adopted in the trees you manage which to my mind is mostly
orthogonal to the actual problems in the code.

Given the scale of the problem it doesn't seem like there's ever been
any prospect of making Linus happy in a single merge window.
