I'd really like to see this gone and just pass (NULL, 0) as the first
arguments to s5p_init_io().

This does not match the declaration of s5p_init_io() which only has two
arguments. The second comment is why is S5P_SYS_ID being cast to (u32),
shouldn't the s5p_init_io() take the correct type?
If S5P_SYS_ID is a pointer to the identity register which might change
depending on the SoC, then why is it called S5P and not S5P6440_SYS_ID ?
