Done. Still not planning to start doing anything with git before Sunday 
or Monday, but at least libusbx is no longer empty, and I'll pick up 
whatever Peter adds before now and Monday.

I'll also try to remove the 1.0.9-rc3 tag [1], since it is both useless 
and potentially confusing.
