Well I don't care much about a skin, but I think a logo would be nice, 
so I am proposing the attached one (which is a ~20 mins job based on the 
public domain USB vector logo from Wikipedia [1]).

Oh, and in case you think the logo is a good start, but needs to be 
altered, I will kindly ask you to do modify it yourself using the 
attached svg and the Open Source vector graphics editor Inkscape [2], if 
you don't have one already installed. As this work probably shows, I'm 
definitely no graphics designer and it was also the first time I ever 
used Inkspace => you can hardly be expected to do a worse job than I'd do.
