All,

Just a heads up with regards to the 1.0.10 release (please also refer to
[1]):

* planned release date has been shifted one day from 2012.04.15 (Sunday)
to 2012.04.16 (Monday). Provided no showstopper is identified, and
depending on circumstances, it may shift another day, but I currently
don't expect it to be later than 2012.04.17.

* The "Samples: replace lisdevs with a testlibusb like sample" task has
now been moved to 1.0.11, as unless someone produces a patch, it's not
going to happen for 1.0.10.

* The bugs duplication is likely to be shifted as well, but currently
left as an open 1.0.10 item. Again, feel free to duplicate libusb bugs
into libusbx's trac if you want.

* We should be pretty much on track for the other tasks knowing that:
   - Windows code cleanup, rebranding, wiki and doxygen are completed,
insofar as I planned to have them completed for 1.0.10. Wiki could
probably see some improvements, but should be OK enough for now. Doxygen
content will be reuped as part of the 1.0.10 release, and I just pushed
the update previously mentioned for the .pc file.
   - versioning is missing the application of the nano git hooks patch,
which has been proposed a few days ago and which I plan to apply later
on today, if there aren't further comments. Since I'm going to create a
"/maintainer" subdirectory for the Windows binary snapshot, I'll
probably amend the patch slightly to place the hooks there rather than
in root.
   - Windows binary snapshots production is also something I plan to add
today or tomorrow. I'm not planning to post the patch to the list as
it's internal/maintainer and will reside in a non-exported directory.
   - I'll make sure the the portal is finalized before Monday

I'm planning to have an RC by Friday, so if there's anything you'd like
to have in 1.0.10, now's the time to push for it.

Regards,

/Pete
