	Hi,
it's a good commit, it fixed things in a better way. When I revert the
libical checkout before that commit, libical doesn't read the "slim"
tzdata at all - the component is NULL, while with it libical reads the
tzdata fine except of the last subcomponent of the VTIMEZONE.

That commit is the reason why I CC'ed you here directly.

Unfortunately not. I checked out the git master of the `tz` project and
it doesn't change anything. Neither reverting the commit there (there
had been some follow up changes in the zic.c, which prevented a clean
revert of that commit).

I think it's some glitch on the libical side, but I do not understand
the data format to know what it is.
